I Love to see the Temple

Well, this is the beginning of many posts of a grand adventure I am going to undertake in December. I am going to be leaving for a year and a half to spread the Gospel to the people of Argentina. I am so excited to go. I wanted to start blogging early to share some of the preparations I am doing to get ready. So far, I haven't done much, but here it is anyways.
One of the things we are supposed to do before we go on a mission is to go through the temple. I prepared to enter the house of the Lord by going to my Stake Temple Preparation classes, and reading the "Preparing to Enter the Holy Temple" pamphlet that the church puts out. Here is the link https://www.lds.org/manual/preparing-to-enter-the-holy-temple?lang=eng it is an excellent resource.

On Saturday September 19, 2015 I was able to go through the temple. What an amazing experience that I wish I could share with everyone. There are so many sacred experiences that took place, they all helped me become a better person, and they will continue to help me all through out my life. I was able to go with my older brother Grant, my mom and dad, my aunt and uncle and my grandparents. It was awesome to be able to experience it with them. I came out of the temple feeling refreshed and cleansed, and feeling like a whole new person, with a new purpose in life. It also helped solidify my desire to serve a mission. I hope everyone will get to experience the temple, it is truly an amazing blessing. I went through the Salt Lake City temple, I am not sure exactly why I felt the need to go through this particular temple, (maybe because it is old and amazing, or its history) but it was awesome, and so beautiful inside.

I was also able to do baptisms Saturday morning, so I had a full day of the temple which was lovely. I have such a great appreciation for the temple.
